1. Which programme is best suited for recording an mp3lecture?
We recommend Audacity. It is free of charge and very easy to use. Download link: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
2. How do I use Audacity to record an mp3lecture?
2.1 Open Audacity
2.2 Connect headset or microphone to the computer(some laptops also have built-in microphones)
2.3 Press the Record button (round red button)
2.4 Read the lecture / presentation / contribution
2.5 Press the Stop button (square, brown)
2.6 File/ Export as MP3... The mp3lecture is complete
3. I get a warning message when I want to export my lecture as an mp3 using Audacity. The message says: Audacity does not support direct export of mp3 files, but uses the freely available LAME mp3 library...
3.1 Go to
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/windows and download the "LAME mp3 Encoder".
3.2 Click on "yes" in the message that appears (Would you like to search for the file "lame_enc.dl" now?)
3.3 Click on the downloadeded "lame_enc.dl", ... Now it works
